Heavy Heart

Father God,

I come with a heavy heart
and an uncertain future.
I don’t know how I am going to make it,
I see no help and no hope.

But I do know that
You are God
You love me
You have a plan
You are Sovereign over all –
Over income and bills
Over needs and wants
Over health
Over prosperity
Over minds and wills.

And so I choose to trust You,
to believe Your Word,
to listen to Your Spirit
to do Your will
to wait for Your rescue.

I trust You,
help my distrust.
I believe You,
help my unbelief.
I choose to follow You,
take me from my own path.
